Five hundred millilitres of single-estate extra virgin olive oil from the Murataj family grove — over a thousand trees planted by our grandfather Hydo in the hills above Kotë, on Albania’s southern coast. Every autumn, our father Skender harvests by hand and presses within hours, producing an oil of real character: robust, peppery, alive.
Expect notes of fresh-cut grass, green almond, and artichoke, with a distinctive warmth at the finish that tells you this oil was made properly — pressed cold, pressed fast, pressed once.
We don’t blend with oil from other farms. We don’t bulk-buy from cooperatives. This is one family’s oil from one family’s trees. What you taste is what the land, the sun, and the season gave us.
How to use: Your everyday premium oil. Dress salads, finish roasted vegetables, pour over grilled fish, dip with bread, or use it anywhere you want flavour rather than just fat. Generous enough for daily cooking, exceptional enough for the table.
