The 2L tin is for the household that’s moved past buying olive oil in small bottles. You know what you like, you use it daily, and you want enough on hand that it’s always there when you reach for it. Breakfast eggs, lunchtime salads, evening roasts — this tin covers the lot.
Decant into a smaller bottle or cruet for the table. Keep the tin sealed in the cupboard. The metal blocks all light, so the oil stays at its best from the first pour to the last.
